Respected Principal Sir, All teacher, dear friend and people from far flung places and first of all, I bow at the feet of those sons who sacrificed their lives for their country, today I got a chance to say something on Independence Day, in this I feel honored myself. . 15th August has always been so special for us that a day when we remember all the glory of our country as we remember the struggle, rebellion and effort of Indian freedom fighters who fought for Indian independence. This year we are celebrating the 75th Freedom of Independence. After centuries of slavery, we finally got freedom on 15th August 1947. 15 August 1947 was the day of rebirth for India, it was the day on which Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru unfurled the tricolor in independent India for the first time from the Red Fort. How many revolutionaries like Subhash Chandra Bose, Chandrasekhar Azad, Bhagat Singh spread the fire of revolution, then the same people like Gandhiji, Nehruji forced the British to leave this country on the strength of truth and non-violence. For all of us, the day of August 15 has historical significance. The freedom struggle started in the year 1857 was successfully achieved in 1947, but it is said that it is not possible to repay the debts of those martyrs.
